Friends With You
I'm usually not a sucker for the whole illustrator/artist/designer toy thing, but I still want these, badly. I really enjoy Friends With You/Wish Come True ever since they designed some amazing rooms at the Hotel Fox in Amsterdam. I might just have a thing for rainbows and color, but these guys stick to their style and create their own universe through gallery shows and interactive exhibitions.

Ndebele House Painting
Ndebele house painting is the 400 year-old South African Ndebele's traditional wall-painting, handed down from mother to daughter. The car is done by famous Ndebele artist Esther Mahlangu for a BMW artist series in the early 90s. So awesome and flat, this graphic representation is pulled from everyday life, as well as personal milestones, and translated into a symbolic language. The tradition is super old and influence is evident throughout modern art and design, but it still looks so fresh.
